Rowley's Ride

I had been looking on the internet for locations of old houses and during my search I stumbled upon some information on a small hamlet named Rowley located north of Drumheller. It looked like an interesting place to take some photographs, so this past summer, my wife and I took a drive.
Rowley, Alberta is apparently considered by some to be a ghost town and it has a very intriguing  history. In recent years, movie makers have made use of  this once bustling little town. Below is an image that I came away with from this trip. For an interesting read on the towns beginnings, it's decline and  what is going on now click on this link: Rowley, Alberta: The Never Say Die Praire Town

  1. Wow! What a great vintage look this one has. It really packs a punch. Love it!

  2. I really like this one Andrew! The ominous sky really adds to it!!
