The Trail

      Earlier this fall we took the short hike to Warspite Lake in Kananskis. The weather was cold and dreary and the sky was grey and dull. Some of the shots that I was hoping for was just not going to happen because of the conditions. On the way back, I noticed the contrast between the light grasses and the darker trees on the trail which I thought looked interesting. When I got home, I played around with the clarity settings in Lightroom to give the image a bit of a surreal feel. I've learned that even if conditions are not ideal for those grand vistas, you can still find reasons to bring along your camera.
