Alberta Serengetti
I took this photograph a couple of years ago not too far from home. While driving along I noticed a line of small trees on the horizon. It reminded me of the Serengetti. We pulled over and I was able to walk down into the ditch.This really helped in getting a lower angle and made it possible to get more detail in the foreground.
While playing around in processing this image I settled on this look, a little more painterly or surreal. It ended up looking great on canvas. Click on image for larger view.

When I made it bigger I really could see all the detail in the grasses...very cool Andrew!
