Here is another photograph taken on an early morning trip to Lake Minnewanka this past spring. Although not a spectacular sunrise, the light did create an interesting mood for this image. While walking along the rocky shore, I noticed there was still some ice that would soon be gone. I positioned my tripod low to be able to include this as part of the foreground as ice and rock have interesting textures, and contrast sharply with the smoothness of the lake.
