Neon Night

I took this photograph a few weeks back while driving through the Bragg Creek area of Alberta. The northern lights were faint but when you increase the ISO settings on the camera it becomes very sensitive to light. It can pick up the light that is not visible to the human eye. 2. Amazing!!! Fascinating!!! Just WOW!
My BIL asked what camera and lens you used for this picture and I promised to ask you... he´s especially interested in the lens.
He took some milky-way-pictures in Salzburg and I think they´re quite good for his first try.
    Have a nice evening,

  3. Thanks everyone for commenting on my posts.
Ulina- this image was taken with a Nikon d90 and an af-s nikkor 18-200mm ed vr2 lens. I find it to be pretty versatile. The settings were ISO 3200 18mm f4.0 20sec. I would like to see the shot that your BIL got.
