Unsettled

Here is a black and white conversion of a photograph I took of a friend backpacking in the Skoki area of Banff National Park. Approaching Ptarmigan Lake, the weather started to roll in. I felt this image captured not only the 'unsettled' nature of the weather but also the thoughts of the hiker as he contemplates what may lie ahead in his journey.
Also, just to remind those who may be interested, we will have a booth at the Western Art and Gift Show at the Ponoka Stampede this weekend, June 29-July 2, 2012. I will have a variety of prints for sale. Come check us out, as well as the many other talented artisans in attendance.

  1. I like this one. Seeing the weather approaching...he has to
make some decisions about the rest of his journey!
    Thanks for sharing!
