Herbert Lake

        Just a short drive up the Icefields Parkway is Herbert Lake. This lake provides excellent photo opportunities as it is right next to the highway and for some reason is often smooth and glassy. This makes for great reflections. After taking this shot, I played with the white balance to increase the cool blues slightly. It already had a blue appearance as it was taken in the evening, but I wanted to highlight that color.
