Running the Slack

        I took this photograph on one of the mornings of the Sundre Pro Rodeo a few weeks back. It gave me a chance to practice with fast shutter speeds, burst mode and panning techniques.
       If a contestant does not want to be a part of the performance or doesn't get drawn for the performance, he can still run in the slack. It is usually held in the morning before the main rodeo.
